I got a job! Lucky number 13!

Thats right, I am now on my 13th job. I am the newest employee at my local Sherwin-Williams paint store. I probably won't start until monday because corporate has to process my paperwork, but as soon as they do I am back on the workforce.

According to the manager he wants me to work on the floor dealing with the customers for the most part. The other part of my job will either be mixing paint, or putting it away.

Now its time to kick back and enjoy my last week of unemployment.

I got an IT job once that I was very proud to land. I started on the 13th of the month. On my first day, the human resources guy asked if I had triskaidekaphobia and I said no. He told me not to discount those things. Sure enough, I was called into his office 6 weeks later and fired while they refused to give a reason even though everyone had complimented me on the job I was doing. There was no other logical explanation.

That sucks. I've been let go like that too. But on the upside your name is the same as a restaurant around here.
