93yo! Whew! Just four years younger that Sister Lucia of Fatima!

And in Miss Simon's honor (yes, I know this is from the inferior remake...)

"See these eyes so blue,
I can stare
for a thousand years..."

Sloppy fact checking at the BBC (my annotations in brackets): "After the acclaimed Cat People [1942] she returned to France to star in famed director Jean Renoir's La Bete Humaine [1938]."

No Simone Simon movies are scheduled on U.S. television in the next two weeks, but Netflixers are encouraged to check out the artful and subtle Cat People; its fantasy sequel Curse of the Cat People; and The Devil and Daniel Webster, in which sexy Simon plays the Devil's handmaiden.

How strange that I just watched Cat People for the first time in my horror film class last week. She was absolutely beautiful; it's a shame she didn't have much success in Hollywood.

Actually, Netflixers are disappointed to find Cat People isn't available on Netflix.
