Loves me my gadgets, I does. I've even ordered a few from a couple of websites. My favorites are:

Hammacher Schlemmer (http://www.hammacher.com/) (wife currently has the progression wake up clock)
Sharper Image (http://www.sharperimage.com/)
and
I Want One of Those (http://www.iwantoneofthose.com)

Anyone have any other favorites, or just links to a certain gadget in particular?

Not specifics but general weblogs, but I put

Gizmodo (www.gizmodo.com) and
Engadget (www.engadget.com)

on my daily circut.

http://www.thinkgeek.com has quite a bit of stuff . . . As the name suggests, the geekier you are the better!

At the "low-tech, but so dumb-looking it's fun" end of the scale, there's archiemcphee.com

If you're bleeding heart do-gooding liberal techno-nerd, you can always visit NPR's geek store (http://shop.npr.org/catalog/Category.jhtml?CATID=cat100006&SORT=-creationDate&start=1).

Before buying small market mp3 players, led lightbulbs, RC tanks and the like I got to
http://dansdata.com/

I tell a lie. :) What I really do is go to his site and fantasize about buying the things.

Wee, I love this stuff.

I think "I Want One of Those" is my favourite source, IMO. ThinkGeek pops up a lot but lots of their stuff just seems really cheap, and overpriced.

Any site that doesn't stock these (http://oakley.com/o/o1213d/p2418) is insufficiently geeky

If you are always looking for cool stuff, ON SALE, look no further (but look often as it changes daily):

http://techbargains.com/

Leave it to the queer to post something that catalogs SALEs. ;)

("Queer" being appropriate, being that I'm a member of the group, I guess, or something like that.)

I would have dropped in sooner to thank everyone for the recommendations, but I've been too busy browsing. Thank Og my wife monitors the credit cards. I'd be in deep shit otherwise...

Aargh! Always with the quoting of the Gay Manual. Where do I (endlich mal) find a copy of it?
