View Full Version : Will World of Warcraft run on an intel chip laptop without T&L?

The laptop has an Intel Graphics chip which doesn't have hardware Transform and Lighting. However, as you can see from the cite from Intel's site below, the game would run if it doesn't specifically check for *hardware* T&L support. All the other system requirements are met on this laptop.

Anyone know if WOW specifically checks for hardware T&L support? I haven't been able to find a reference online.

Intel® graphics products do not have hardware support for T&L. In most games, transform and lighting calculations can be performed on the processor with acceptable performance. A small number of games that specifically check for hardware T&L support may fail to run."
