It just guessed Roseanne and Doogie Howser for me. Pretty cool site. I'll have to think of something harder so I can stump this thing!

We used to have something like this when we were little - my dad had written a program in basic that did it. Ours was for animals, though.

SwimmingRiddles - it keeps asking questions until
a) it's narrowed it down to one character it knows.
b) your answers have eliminated all of the characters it knows.

And every time you stump it, it "learns" your character, and adds your question to it's list.

But it's dead on with the dictators. It got Chairman Mao in like 7 questions.

I don't want to piss on anybody's parade, but I am now officially sick of this site.

But, don't take my word for it.

BTW, you really want to screw it up? Get it stumped anyway you can, and when it asks you to add a question, make sure that it's so vague it could be anything. ("Do you breathe? Do you have ears?") Do this about a hundred times and it'll never get anything right, it'll be a shot in the dark.

It didn't guess that I was Doctor Who

It didn't get that I was Edina from Ab Fab

so a hint for anyone who wants to beat it: try British tv characters.

For those of you who stumped it, who were you and who did it guess? I was Bernard Wooley from Yes, Minister and it thought I was Groundskeeper Willie from The Simpsons.

And some of you should be ashamed of yourselves for using characters from shows that were not sit-coms.

And an ovation for the first person who can stump it with an obscure dictator.

I stumped the dictator part with Daniel Ortega; it guessed I was Manuel Noregia (sp?) instead. When it asked me for a question though that would seperate the two, I couldn't think of anything interesting, so settled for the rather lame "Are you from Nicaragua?" I went back through a second time answering the same way, and sure enough it eventually asked me if I was from Nicaragua, to which I answered yes, and it guessed I was Ortega.

I stumped it with Kenny (aka "Bud") from The Cosby Show.

However, it didn't guess correctly when I was the girl from My Two Dads. That was probably due to my not remembering that much about the character.

wow. the first time i went through, i thought this was a preliminary survey. i soon caught on to the fact that the game had been in full blast for a while, but kept playing. I am now an answer in there.LOL JB! I thought the same thing. Then it asked me if I ever killed seven people. I started thinking "How did they know about that?" Then I realized it was not a personal questionaire. I realized the game actually started and I went back and started over. I picked Kelly Bundy, That red head chick from Unahappily Ever After and 7 of 9 . Seeing a trend? It was right on all of them.
