Someone in Tupelo, MS listed a home for sale at over $300,000. It is located across the road from Elvis' birthplace. I don't believe he sold it, so I mention it only as an example of what people try to sell on eBay at high prices.

Bah, that's all chump change. I recall reading when someone was trying to flog an aircraft carrier (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2004/01/10/webay10.xml&sSheet=/news/2004/01/10/ixnewstop.html), which apparently reached 90M US before being shut down for some reason.

Hmm. Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ebay) has a list of the 5 most expensive items ever actually sucessfully sold - check that out. :)
