What's the rainy season in Italy?

Would I expect more pleasant (i.e. less rainy) weather during a November trip, or a March trip?

No, no. The rain in the Mediterranean stays mainly on the Ukrainian.

When I was in Italy (for 1 week in Sept)...it rained once every afternoon for about an hour. Seems to be a common thing...the locals had armfuls of umbrellas for sale.

I don't live in Italy, but I believe that the mediterranean is generally very hot and dry in the summer, and cool and rainy in the winter.

The monsoons are restricted mainly to the SE Asian part of Italy and to years with el niño or la niña but not both or none.

I'm not going to tell you about the weather - I hope it rains every day because I'm extremely jealous you're planning a trip to Italy.

I do know there are cyber cafes in Rome, so at least stay in touch!
