View Full Version : I'm 35 today, and you're not . . .

Well, unless you were also born on August 11th, 1965, then I guess you are 35 today too.

Or if your birthday is Aug 10, 1965 and you are crossing the international date line, then I suppose you are 35 today too.

Wait a minute, is that the way it works?
Never mind.

BUT if your birthday is Aug 12, 1965, and you were crossing the international date line ...

Eh, technicalities.

[sing-song]
I'm 35 today and you're not
[/sing-song]

Okay, I suppose if you are a dog and you were born on Aug 11th, 1995, this would be your 35th "dog-year" birthday.

Or if your on a boat near the international dateline and you are a dog who was born on ....

Ah, crap, just forget the whole thing. Being 35 is depressing anyway.

Nope, I'm not 35. Nor is my birthday today. But I'm getting close--I'm 33.

So, how does it feel? I gotta start practicing!
Happy Birthday! :D

Truth be told - I'm in better physical shape now than when I was 25, so I feel great.

Thanks, everybody, for the birthday wishes.

Hey, I'm 41, and I'm in the best shape of my life.

Actually, I'm not. That's from a cheesy Bow-Flex commercial.

Anyway, happy birthday.

Well, 35 or not, merry birthday. Now, let's see that birthday dance. Come on...it's either the birthday dance or the 35 spankings. You pick. Of course, if your dance isn't up to standards, we may spank you anyway.

Wow, what an illustrious group.

Claus Von Bulow
Hulk Hogan
Jerry Falwell

I certainly have a lot to live up to.

I now strive to be a steroidal, balding, bible-thumper with homicidal tendencies.

Well, I'm on a ship.

I'm not near the International Dateline (I'm actually three hours ahead of EST).

And my birthday's tomorrow.

See if anyone cares.

But I do know the difference between "your" and "you're."

Oh, BTW, Happy B-day Jack.
A lot of people consider 35 to be the beginning of the end of life.
::staring upwards at an angle pensively::
well, happy birthday.

Actually I am 35 today. I was 35 yesterday and I'll be 35 tommorrow. 36 comes around in October.

Happy Birthday Jack.

Happy early Birthday Chief. How 'bout a beer and a shot of tequila? or two maybe three. Usually It takes about a 12 pack and 6 or 7 shots before I start flashing people, but for you I'll make an exception.

Jeez, Chief, gimme a break. Me throwing around that many homonyms, it's a miracle I only got one wrong. You may also notice an almost impeccable use of apostrophies, almost unheard of for me.
Happy Birthday for tomorrow.

Hey, it's also Marilyn Vos Savant's birthday today. It is also the day that the Mayan Great Calendar started on. But most importantly it's my birthday as well. Of course, I'm only 22, which is a completely useless age. Now off to start my own thread.

Happy, happy birthday, Jack Nice to meet my fellow 8-11 brother and sister.

Leos rule, man!

sorry, my meds wore off. anyway, happy 35th. I'll be there soon enough. From what I've seen so far the third decade is going to be the best: Old enough to know how to be bad without winding up in jail, ya know? :)
