They're filming another Sharpe mini-series right now, with Sean Bean. The Sharpe Appreciation Society (http://www.southessex.co.uk/) says it will be shown on ITV and BBC America.

This one is set in India, after Waterloo. It's a new story, not based on one of Cornwell's novels.

Not set on a book, could be bad news but then considering the standard of some of the prequels Cornwall has written it could be good news. Let's hope Harper makes an apearance, mush tho' I'm a fan of Sean Bean it was the ensemble acting I enjoyed in the 'originals'.

Series? Coo-ul. Looks like only two parts, though.

Whatever happened to "Sharpe and Harper shall not march again" at the end of, I believe, "Sharpe's Waterloo"? :)
Still, I look forward to it.
