View Full Version : Ages
I am really curious as to the ages of people here. From my expolrations of the board here, I gather that most people are middle-aged or so. If I'm wrong please correct me. I am a senior in HS. How many other HS aged people are posters here? Enlighten me, please.

Age and treachery win out over youth and reflexes every time.
I'm 42 (as of June 22 this year).

Notice my first reply to this thread. One advantage of age is that you've learned to pick up on subtle cues. No offense taken. Original meaning understood.
Really, have you ever noticed that it's the old guys who run wars and the young guys who fight in them? Keep that in mind next time you disrespect your elders. We can tolerate only so much annoyance from the cannon fodder.

I'm 18, and I just was freed from that mind-numbing, cave-like, hellish, homophobic, narrow-minded, KKK-populated, cretin-filled, illogical inner circle of deepest Hades.
Er... I just graduated from high school.

I appear to be Third Banana in age for this thread at the moment--37 in less than two months.
Before the kiddies chuckle, I wanna point out that they have two choices--they can get older, in which case future kiddies will think of themas old farts, or they can die young. Those are the only options you get, so choose wisely.

I'm currently 18, but only for a short while. On September 1 I will be *trumpets sound* 19. A magical number here, as it is the legal drinking age. Not that it really matters, as I look much older.

Darn right you do, rob. I thought you were at least my age. When you talked about the university you go to, I assumed you were a junior or senior. :)

Nope, nope. I'm second year, so I think I would be referred to as a sophomore. People have always thought me to be older than I am. I had a beard and long hair in the beginning of grade 10 (I also wore a lot of tie-dye, by the way). A lot of the people that didn't know me thought I was an intern. Which worked to my advantage, of course. :D
38 and counting. Hopefully for a long time to come.
