Why doesn't my Netscape browser work?

My Netscape browser will not work. I have it on Desktop, and when my WalMart Connect ISP connects, I click on Netscape to do my surfing.
Now, I click on Netscape, my hourglass comes on for about 5 seconds, and then hourglass disappears. I haven't downloaded any new programs that I can remember. This started about a week ago.
Can anybody advise me? I have Windows XP on a computer a few months old.

Have you tried reinstalling the browser? You can download it again here (http://browser.netscape.com/ns8/).

Just did that, and it downloaded but wouldn't install. It can't read who my server is, whatever that means. A window came up saying that there was a server reading error, or something similar. It asks for my 'host' name, etc....

Can you give us the exact error messages?
