My friend, Daniel, has died. At an age too early for the world to lose someone like him. He was a huge supporter of Variety Village; a fantastic supporter and member of the Lions Club in town; and just an all 'round great guy. He was funny, smart, charming, a sharp dresser; opinionated as hell; married to a wonderful lady whom he loved very much; and had no tolerance for b.s. when it got in the way of helping someone. He was my hero.

I miss him. Today the sun does not shine as bright.

Goodbye, Dan.
(In your honour, had a glass of that red wine we picked up at the winery in the summer and thought would be awesome in the spring......it was, my friend. Cheers!)

So sad to hear your loss of a good friend. He sounds like someone who cared a lot, and sharp, too. Keep his heart alive in yours, that's the best memorial one could wish for.

And now Cooper, Dan's favourite dog of the two, is missing. He apparently ran when the van pulled in after the hospital visit and someone opened the door. That was Monday, he hasn't been found yet.

Damn, this isn't getting any better.
