Here we go -- for the month of April, we'll be looking for the following:
Elements (earth, air, fire and/or water)
White (can be tricky...careful the photo doesn't get washed out)
Profile (as in, looking at someone from the side)
Choice (go nuts)
Enjoy!

I never noticed these threads before today. Do you have to sign up? Are there rules? Limits on size of the photos?

OK, here are mine! I have never done this before, nor put photos on the internet.
I have cheated in that these are all pictures that I had already, but I did take them myself!

So what do you think then, huh? Huh?
I was all nervous about putting pictures us (I know they are snaps, but other people have put snaps-y pics up too) and then they sank like a stone....

Those are fantastic man, right on good pics!
Most of my pics have been some I already had... not all...but I dont see a problem with that.. some do but they are more hardcore pic contest I think... :)
I dont have any yet.... but I will be looking.

:smack: I've been sitting over in the old thread waiting for the link to the new one to appear. Sheesh.
Cool assignments - I didn't make it into the last one but I'll definitiely be doing this one. Have to do it soon as I'll be out of the country for the end of the month.

Same as last time, the photos look better in their larger sizes. Except my "white" one, that one is a little rough no matter how you look at it.

I am completely enamoured with this picture. I would frame that and hang it on my wall.

I'm enjoying all the pics - Pig Boy, what was your element one (powder, or dust on water??)It's some kind of foam on the Black River in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Here are mine
Elements (http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bsolly/detail?.dir=9cfb&.dnm=8a79.jpg&.src=ph) I think I am the first to feature all of the elements, Yea me
Profile (http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bsolly/detail?.dir=9cfb&.dnm=1b3f.jpg&.src=ph) Now this is in the nature of art and if anyone has a issue with it I will remove it right away.
White (http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bsolly/detail?.dir=9cfb&.dnm=482e.jpg&.src=ph) No much I can say about this, my pup playing with cotton batting.
Choice (http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bsolly/detail?.dir=9cfb&.dnm=49ef.jpg&.src=ph) Now if only I was allowed to Photoshop, then I would take that stool leg out of the shot.

Wow, those are stunning, Ludy. I have to say your profile shot had me baffled for a minute because I thought one body part was another but... very tastefully done, IMHO.
But the white is my favorite, partly because that is one cute puppy.

We had a freakish snowfall a couple days ago and I went out to see what I could find for 'white,' when I happened on this (http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g73/StarvingButStrong/3ferupload.jpg) in a rather unkempt garden sheltered by a big old cedar tree. There's lots of white, there are at least two elements, and if you look closely, the garden statue is in profile.....
I'll try to find more worthy pictures, but the coincidence amused me.

I see fire, earth, and water. Where's wind?
I see fire, earth, and water. Where's wind?
Well technically it is air, and without it how would the fire stay burning?
(I know kinda lame but whatever)

Why thank you, When I saw white as a subject, I just couldnt use anything else.

OK, here are my contributions:

White (http://www.flickr.com/photos/42561499@N00/125996217/in/photostream/)

The profile shot was taken, by coincidence, just before the assignment was posted. The rest were shot for the assignment.
Cheers.

Hal, thanks for the interesting and challenging assignments!
Pigboy, I love your "White" !
El_Kabong, nice job on "Element," it looks so wet, like you could stick your hand right through the computer screen and be wet.
Here are mine:
Element (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ekuzina/128184920/)
White (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ekuzina/128184919/) Okay, this is cheating, or as I prefer to say, creative interpretation.
Profile (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ekuzina/128184922/)
Choice (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ekuzina/128184921/) My choice for this month was really supposed to be my "Fence" for last month. It was one of those things where work went crazy and I didn't have the opportunity to finish the assignment and post. But I was really proud of "Fence" and didn't want it to go to waste.
