You must take better care of your accessories if you want them to last, Brit. (http://icsurreyonline.icnetwork.co.uk/0100news/showbiz/tm_objectid=16935419&method=full&siteid=50102&headline=britney-s-baby-in-cracked-skull-emergency-name_page.html)

Good Lord, give that kid a quarter of a chance! Genetically he's already off to a bad start, dropping him on his head isn't gonna help AT ALL.

And they're blaming it on the nanny, I see. Why do I get the sick feeling it had more to do with baby's daddy? Poor kid.

Yeah, I read about that too, what a sad case that whole family is. It's funny b/c I was jsut saying that money allows people to close their eyes to OBVIOUS lack of ability to parent i.e. whit and bob-o...but luckily in this case they are finally at least checking this stuff out. what a shit show.

Well, thank God he landed on his head, or else he might have been hurt. ;)

I don't know if everyone will see the same advertising, but the kid wearing the colander-helmet in the smartnewhomes.com ad is hilariously appropriate.

It just occured to me: Maybe that's what happens when you give birth on all fours on a bearskin rug. It's a long drop from there.

Biggirl, I've de-linked your url. We're not trying to stop anyone who wants to go there deliberately, but that's not what I'd call "workplace safe" if anyone happens to click inadvertently.

For those saying, "Huh?" please go to Forum Rules: PLEASE READ (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=343601) and note especially Post #5.

Sorry. Didn't think there'd be a problem since it was already linked in another thread. Will thoroughly read the forum rules. Not only read through them but memorize them so this never, ever happens again. Ever.

I don't think the Britney statue itself was the problem, but some of the other ads/images linked in that blog. When I clicked through, the second ad down was a naked woman doing a walkover kind of thing...

I could see right into the gash of madness
