I am seriously considering becoming a subscribing member, but I posted a thread and now can't get to it. What can I do?

What can I do?I'm assuming you're talking about this thread (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=366152), since it's the only other one you've started. Are you saying you are unable to find the thread (if so, try changing the display options at the bottom of the forum page to show threads from farther back) or that you for some reason can't post to it?

Click either the Reply or New Post button.I can't even get to the thread to click Reply or New Post. My profile says I have no posts. But I do have one, I was very appreciate of the responses. The system, however, seems to want to get rid of me. Hell, I can come up with the $15, as long as the system will be civil.

In any case, you're a Godsend, Giraffe, for providing that link. I like this board. I've tried some other ones and the only word I can find for them is "embarrassing."
Thank you.

I must have missed the memo. When did they change the definition of most to "vanishingly close to zero"?

Nah, perhaps he meant this one (http://www.planethalflife.com/blueshift/).
But knowing Giraffe it was most likely this one (http://www.whitehouse.gov/barney/).
