Catherine Hicks as Dr. Gillian Taylor in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092007/)
She was so pretty and likable, otherwise for just pure physical hotness I would have to go with the Female Vulcan in that awful Enterprise Show.
I had to look it up: Jolene Blalock as Subcommander/Commander T'Pol.

She's still in fourth place. There are three people above her; the fact that two of them are possibly tied is irrevelant.
1. Uhura
2 (tie) J. Dax, Kira
4. Tasha Yar
This is common practice. I'd continue the argument, but it's too geeky even for me.

Not for me. I demand substantiation. I have often heard the phrase "tied for second" without the person in third being considered to suddenly occupy a non-existant fourth slot. No one says "This person finished first, these people tied for second, and this person finished fourth". If there is some technical reason that's proper, it is not proper by common usage as far as I know.

Oh, and since this is the Dope, after all, Fabulous Creature is correct. Consider thus: Suppose you looked at an incredibly fine level of detail, and determined some minute feature that broke the tie between Jadzia and Kira. One of them would then be second, and the other would be third, correct? In which case, Yar would clearly be fourth. Now, in the real world there must always be some level of detail at which the tie will be broken. It may depend on your mood at a particular moment, and it may be such a small detail that for practical purposes, it doesn't matter. But one way or the other, the tie can be broken. And no matter which way it's broken, Yar would still be fourth.
Or, if it's actual usage that you're concerned about: In the Olympics, when two people tie for the gold, there's no silver medal, just two gold medals and a bronze. The situation is exactly analogous.

Nope. Wrong. It is not 'exactly analogous'. Jadzia and Nerys each get one half of second place. Together, they make up one whole second place.
I am going to start a poll about whether anyone actually ever says "first, tied for second, and fourth" in normal usage, because if that is common, I have somehow been halluncinating otherwise my entire life.

Oh, jeez, how could I have forgotten Vash (although she looked a little hard-bitten in her later appearances) or the babealicious Leeta? My bad.

Who was the Irish Chick that liked to have her feet washed? Before, I was just thinking about the regular characters... But yeah, she was smokin' hot. The accent alone is just about enough for me, but add in her looks and personality, major babe.

Mmm..., Leeta. She fits in well with the theme of this thread. (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=140811)

There are too many to list from all the versions of Star Trek, so for now I'll stick with the original series:
Marianna Hill (http://allyourtrekarebelongto.us/drnoel.htm) as Dr. Helen Noel from Dagger of the Mind
Sherry Jackson (http://allyourtrekarebelongto.us/andrea.htm) as Andrea from What Are Little Girls Made Of?
These two are such goddesses that I think they win for all females on all Trek series. They are achingly sexy.

I've always been partial to Chekhov's love interest in Gamesters of Triskelion, Drill Thrall Tamoon (http://allyourtrekarebelongto.us/tamoon.htm).

I guess that leaves Ashley Judd (Lefler) all for me.
Not so fast Texan. :) She was the only one that was remotely my age. Now, to find out Aeryn Sun is actually several years younger than me just makes me depressed.

2. Deanna Troi. Come ON! And there's the old adage that women turn into their mothers. Do you wanna be with Luwaxana Troi in 20 years?
After seeing a screenshot of Marina Sirtis nude, I'd still go for her.

I am going to start a poll about whether anyone actually ever says "first, tied for second, and fourth" in normal usage, because if that is common, I have somehow been halluncinating otherwise my entire life.
God, only Trekkers could hijack a "hottest babe" thread into an argument over statistics. :D
Anyway, if you look at a ranking of (say) countries or the like on which two or more are tied, they will follow the practice alluded to.
1. Canada, 98%
2. France, 91%
(tied) Spain, 91%
4. UK, 89%
(tied) Norway, 89%
(tied) Finland, 89%
7. Italy, 84%
...etc.
It only makes sense that if you have N entries, last place is Nth place.

Cleopatra

Since one ref leads to another, I also want to River dance.
Aw, c'mon guys, did only one of you even look at Seven of Nine?!?Nah. Her breasts are abnormally huge.
Johnny the words you are using are English, they just don't make any sense in that order. :D
I like Robert Picardo's comment when he first saw
Jeri Ryan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeri_Ryan) in costume "You outfit is very... imformative"
Or perhaps he said informative. :smack:

Okay, so my dream team would be:
Vash
Ezri Dax
Dr. Helen Noel
Vina
and just for sheer sweetness, Kes.
Nope you got to go with the evil Kes. That's 4-11 of pure sex appeal.

Terry Farrel. I was just a bit young to appreciate Ms. Sirtis. Also 7 of 9, and Nerys.
