Plus, drawing attention to something you said is hardly the mark of chivalry. Saying it for your own benefit is hardly proper. Say it if you mean it, not for your personal gain.

Some people may see what I wrote as the joke it was meant to be. Sorry if you took my remark as me trying to correct you. Thanks for your advice on what is proper and what I should say and what I should mean though, I'll take it under advisement.
