For thems as has wondered if she's really trailer trash or not: yep, with her first kid 8 months, she's preggers again. link (http://music.msn.com/music/article.aspx?news=222980>1=7702).
Thank god. Now that Katie's spawned, and Angelina's gonna pop any day, whose waistline would we watch?

Dang; they'll almost be Irish Twins! I'm guessing she didn't breastfeed, or she wouldn't have gotten preggers again so soon. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Trailer trash?
That's nothin'. We have three kids about 30 months apart and the wife breastfed the whole time. Lessee, one was born Dec of '99, the next April of '01 and the last Sept of '03.

So Brit is preggers again. I hope they make a better statue of it this time.

"Trailer trash?"
If this was a BLACK woman we were talking about, from a lower-class background, and she was in the same situation, there is no way, no way in hell, that you or anyone else who fashioned him or herself a part of polite society would wonder out loud "whether she was really from the ghetto" after hearing about another baby on the way.
Even though close to 1/3 of black babies are born out of wedlock, and there are countless racist jokes about the black woman with her 10 children with 10 last names, it is only acceptable in polite society (and this message board is definitely the polite society of the often dirty, sophomoric and unregulated internet) to make fun of the sexual habits and lifestyles of lower-class WHITES.
This is my first time on this message board wherein I am debating something like this, usually I prefer not to stir shit up, but I have to say I'm kind of uncomfortable at the way you're talking about Britney Spears. She is definitely trashy, there's no doubt about it. She dresses hideously, she has bad taste in men - this I can't argue with. But making fun of someone's child-bearing and sexual habits in connection with their social class...that's sort of in poor taste.
I don't live in a trailer. I come from an upper middle class background. Maybe I'm on an ivory tower. I went to high school with lots of Camaro-driving guys who chewed Skoal and Kodiak and rode dirt bikes and worked on farms, and those guys happily referred to themselves and each other as rednecks, and maybe those guys and most guys like them don't give a damn about the words "white trash" and "redneck" and other slang terms for "lower-class white" (even though plenty of these guys' dads owned construction businesses or other shit like that and had nice houses and lots of land, and luxuries like motorcycles and 4-wheelers and boats and things that the average suburban kid never sees because the cost of living in the suburbs is higher.) The rednecks I went to school with were Redneck Lite. The real rednecks weren't in high school, they were busy working actual jobs. Maybe I don't know shit about rednecks, and like I said, maybe I'm on an ivory tower. But there's a double standard about the white poor and the black poor, in that it's ok to make fun of the former and not the latter. That strikes me as a little unfair.

Britney isn't/wasn't trailer trash by any definition. She grew up middle class, with her parents paying for all kinds of gymnastics/dance lessons, etc.

She is white trash. I've said it for years.
By squeezing out a pair of pups in less than a year she resembles the stereotypical trailer trash one sees on shows like COPS: a southern accent and a litter of babies.
Sorry dude, this country's still on a long guilt trip.

Her childbearing isn't why she is white trash. It's her nasty, cheeto-eating, husband, her terrible personal hygiene (barefoot at gas stations), getting CPS called on her, etc., etc.
And then there's this for evidence:

Dude, black people make fun of the "black poor" all of the time. Ever seen The Chappelle Show? No one was up in arms over that stuff.
I'm from small town Indiana and went to college in Muncie, IN, if that doesn't qualify me to recognize white trash then nothing will. :D

I think Britney is a perfect example of the notion that money doesn't buy class.

Man, God muse really hate me. My husband and I have trying to have a baby for almost 4 years, with no luck, and Britney's popping them out like she's a human Pez dispenser.
I wonder if our problem is that the two of us wear shoes when we enter public restooms ...

Yeah, instead of "...by any definition...", I should've said "...by economic definition, anyway...". :D

I don't really get the connection between having another baby so soon and her trashiness. I think of her as trashy in the cheap, sleazy context, as opposed to the "white trash" i.e., poor, dirty, no class sense.
As far as making comments about whites with their multiple children / multiple baby daddy being more acceptable than making those same comments about blacks, I'm pretty much gonna spread the derision evenly. It's phenomenally irresponsible behavior, regardless of the skin color of the breeder.
Ms. Spears has more than enough money to support her two children (three if you count KFed) so I'm not too bothered. I am kind of surprised, though, 'cause I thought they broke up a long time ago (?)

Well, that's the fault of the doctor who told her that she had a "bouncing baby boy".

*Sigh*Louisiana can't win. It has a great musical heritage that Britney Speers ruins like a moustache on the Mona Lisa.
As for child 2.0, having children so close together is very bad for a woman's health. I think it would go double for Speers since she seems to keep a very thin figure. (Women gain weight when they're pregnant for a reason! When you have kids you need to give up the pre-pubescent look.)

:smack: I don't follow her other than what comes on the news. The last picture I saw, she looked thin for the mother of an 8 month old. (Then she does have the money to hire a nanny and go the gym...)

Eh, I guess, but she is only 24-years-old. There's no reason she wouldn't be able to take the baby weight off in eight months. And as a celebrity who essentially makes a living off of her looks, you'd think she would try a little harder. I think she had it in her to get back into pre-pregnancy condition, but I guess it wasn't a priority for her.
And yeah, her body might be wrecked after this next one.

I had to post this here. I was just reading through the celebrity news at IMDB and happened across a blurb on how Britney's agents were totally shocked that she got preggers again because they thought she really wanted to do this Janis Joplin biopic and now she won't be able to do it.
Britney Spears as Janis Joplin?!
Thank goodness she got pregnant again and spared us that travesty.

My first thought was "Ugh - again?". My second, more rational thought was "Hey - at least this will keep her from putting out another CD for an even longer while!"

Out of random curiosity, what is it that inspires this... enthusiastic aggression against celebrities that most people online have never, and probably never will, met in person? Why is it that everyone feels the need to talk about how Britney is white trash because she has had two kids in rapid succession, or that Tom Cruise and Kate Holmes gave their kid an unusual name, or whatever random pointless crap like that?

Hey, maybe if she keeps having kids she won't have time for anything else and by the time the fourth or fifth kid pops out we will never have to hear of her again.

No, no, no.
She'll just do a "reality show" like Anna Nicole Smith.

Because they are willing public figures, and ones easy to ridicule at that.

You and Wile E can both rest assured that it wasn't for real. Her people are in the habit of constantly floating these rumors about her non-existant career. A couple of others I've seen lately are "starring in a play" and "having her own sitcom". It's just not going to happen, but it keeps her name out there, and it keeps what's left of her fans excited about the possiblity of a comeback.
Raguleader
In Britney's case it's the arrogance of her self-delusion about how important she is and how wonderful her loser husband is. When she did her awful home movie reality show the tagline was "Can you handle our truth?" followed by hours of videotape of the two of them acting like idiots all over Europe. Another thing she said about finally achieving her sparkly dream of Prince Charming and True Love Forever was "I'm sorry you don't have what I have".
Tom Cruise has also show a lot of arrogance, especially in talking about treating post-partum depression with "vitamins" and whatever other junk science his cult advocates. He also slagged on Brooke Shields for recieving treatment for her PPD after her first daughter was born. So, basically it's both that he doesn't know what he's talking about, and that it's not his business what Brooke Shields does to try to get herself right so she can take care of her baby.
He's also batshit insane and a lot of people think he and Katie faked the pregnancy.

Yeah, no shit. I bet that bitch purposely broke the high chair, just so she could drop the kid on his head. Yup, fucking bitch should have her kid taken away because a piece of an accident involving a faulty high chair. Yes, sir.

Somehow I think there was more to it than that. I've taken my child to the hospital for an injury before and CPS was never called. The law might be different out in Cali, but around here CPS doesn't just investigate for every bump and scrape.

Geez, lay off the coffee!!
You don't think it's a bit odd that she first blamed a nanny, and then blamed the supposedly faulty high chair? And where's the national recall on these deadly high chairs?

She was already investigated once for driving with an infant on her lap, so her file was probably right there on the top of the pile.
Ave Dementia, it is indeed a relief to hear that there was never a Janis Joplin biopic, but you never can tell what kind of craziness these Hollywood folks might come up with.
