A 73 year old lady who killed an 84 year old woman with a hammer was sentenced to life in prision without parole. The victim was struck in the head 37 times with the claw end of a hammer on Feb. 7, 2005. The convicted murder said that she went over to her friend's mobile home with cookies and a photo album and saw her laying in a pool of blood. Yea, lady... like we haven't heard that one before. The defense did not put on a case.

Umm...wouldn't that be grounds for a mistrial? She didn't get proper defense?
