You know, it was brought up at least once in the past. I want to say it had something to do with gay marriage, but I can't find the exact thread I'm thinking of.
At least, the term Bricker Amendment has been used on the SDMB to discuss something Bricker was talking about.

I've used it teasingly in debates with Bricker on constitutional law. The Bricker in question was Dewey's running mate in one of his tries for the Presidency, by the way.
