I'll see your TOW and raise you a Tomahawk (http://tomahawk.ytmnd.com/) (It's YTMND. Sound will play when it's loaded. Baffling, baffling sound.)

Oh, and if that's not enough:RPG Fishing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8MHy7XsL9g).

Nice. But it only counts if you're doing the shooting/filming.

Damn Bear, you have a fun job!

My brother's going to be down in your neck of the woods for a month or so... some kind of SF thingee.

Yea, it's fun sometimes. We had a hangfire on one of the missiles though, so we had to sit around for over an hour waiting for EOD to come remove it from the launcher.
Your brother is coming this way? I hope they'll keep him busy, because Columbus is about as lame as a city can get.

That is very cool. Looks like a blast.

When I was a kid my Dad came home from work one day and gave me a set up pictures of this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQR1hqA169s&mode=related&search=) test (which I have linked to before). He ran that test. That is a dream job :)

You ever see one come out of the tube, go about a hundred feet, then make a 90 degree turn? Fun times. (that was from a Cobra. Thats what you get when you use old expired ammo as practice rounds.)

We had one break a wire and take off straight up. Actually, there's no way to be sure it even landed yet. LOL it's probably stuck in a tree somewhere now.
I'd imagine that happened a lot when fired from a Cobra. You got to make gradually correction when you're tracking a target. If the helicopter is not hovering steady enough, it would easily break a wire.

That was cool. TOW was my specialty in the Army back in the early eighties.

Now I can share it with my kids.
