View Full Version : Non celebrities who have been married/partnered to two or more celebrities

I can think of several non-celebrities who have married (and marital-like relationships count) two celebrities:

Michelle Triola- "marriage like relationships" with Lee Marvin and Dick Van Dyke

Robert Wolders- married to Merle Oberon, marriage like relationship with Audrey Hepburn. (Currently lives with Henry Fonda's widow, though I don't count her as a celebrity.)

Alana Collins- married to George Hamilton and Rod Stewart

(All three had minor notoriety in their own right but were mainly famous for their partners.)

Can you think of any who have been married or partnered with more than two?

I suppose that sort of fashionable promiscuity means nothing to someone like you, who hops from bed to bed with the frequency of a cheap ham radio.

What about Mrs. George Harrison/Eric Clapton?

Sure, she had a bit part in "Hard Day's Night", but seeing as I don't know her name, that hardly makes her a celebrity, does it? :D

Patti Boyd. Not sure if she counts as a non-celebrity; she was a successful model.

It's an old SNL reference.

During the first years of SNL, they used to have a "Point/Counterpoint" segment during the Weekend Update (which was a parody of the "Point/Counterpoint" mini-debates that "60 Minutes" used to air before it was replaced by Andy Rooney). Jane Curtin took the liberal position on an issue while Dan Ackroyd did it from a conservative angle. Of course, the debate would always quickly degenerate into a series of ad hominum attacks (e.g., "Jane, you ignorant slut!"). MaxtheVool is just quoting Ackroyd's response to Curtin during their "debate" on the Marvin/Triola "palimony" court case during the late 70's.

(Kids these days know nothing about history.)

Damn, I should have known that, but it had totally slipped my mind, and I actually reported Max's post, for which I apologize.

But hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and Michelle Triola, like a screeching, squealing, rapacious swamp sow, is after actor Lee Marvin's last three million dollars. I guess what you and Michelle are saying is that when you're on your backs, the meter is running. Well, please spare us, gals, and tell us the rates at the top. Then we can choose which two bit tarts and bargain basement sluts to shack up with.

Awesome reference.

Do me a favor, though, when you want to quote something like that, please put it in quotes? When someone reports a post, it sometimes happens that I don't have time to read the whole thread...

Bebe Buell's daughter Liv was thought to be the offspring of Todd Rundgren, but her father is actually Steve Tyler of AerosmithYeah, she was kind of a professional rock groupie/slut. She banged several famous musicians. Although she was a semi-famous model and Playboy playmate* first.

There was also that nutball Baretta shot. She was some kind of professional stalker/slut. She was supposedly involved with Brando's kid before Blake.

Right now I think she is also dating some singer. She likes singers..

Alma Maria Mahler-Werfel (née Schindler) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alma_Mahler)

The loveliest girl in Vienna
Was Alma, the smartest as well.
Once you pick her up on your antenna,
You'll never be free of her spell.

If we count people prominent in politics as celebrities, we get Edwina Mountbatten (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edwina_Mountbatten%2C_Countess_Mountbatten_of_Burma). This lady was married to the last Viceroy of India and had an affair with Nehru. You might not count that second relationship as "marriage-like", though.

She was a soap actress, but I'm not sure about the "star" part.

From the Wiki cite above, it appears she was a bona fide star:

Career
Immediately after her high school graduation, she accepted another soap offer and left for New York City. Heche first became famous by playing the dual roles of Vicky Hudson and Marley Love Hudson on the American soap opera Another World from 1987 to 1991, for which she won a Daytime Emmy Award; her acclaimed work as Vicky and Marley can currently be seen on Soapnet. Heche has starred in a number of high-profile films, including Donnie Brasco, Volcano, Wag the Dog, Six Days Seven Nights, and Psycho. She was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in the 2004 Broadway revival of Twentieth Century, and also appeared in the play Proof.
