I know there are some RPers around, so I hope this will be of interest.
Paizo will cease publishing Dragon and Dungeon magazines. :(
Announcement here (http://paizo.com/paizo).

I think I still have issues #63-#120 or something of Dragon back at my parents house, from over 20 years ago. Too bad.
Hmmm, I wonder if they're worth anything on Ebay....

It's too bad, but I'm sad for the loss of an institution more than the loss of the magazines.
Since the whole D20 OGL thing it's all been the same - and when I say "it" I mean the whole product line from WOTC and everyone else publishing on the OGL.
Chapter 1 - Introduction
Chapter 2 - New Prestige Classes
Chapter 3 - New Feats
Chapter 4 - New Skills
Chapter 5 - New Spells
Chapter 6 - New Magic Items
Dragon fell into this trap, too.
Bleh.

Well that's just dandy. Another part of my youth tossed away by the "fine" folks at Lizards of the Toast.
I don't have anyone to play with in my area, but I still enjoy reading Dragon every month. I'll miss it. :(

Sad.
Not that I've bought a copy in 20 years, but I have some very fond memories of reading every single word (including the cool ads) of every issue I bought.

Eh, I had a few Dragons from the early 40s and 50s and then nearly unbroken up until about issue 230-odd before I stopped buying. It used to seem like I'd be reading it forever. Certainly up to the mid-1990s it was well worth the read.
Guess they finally rolled a 1. :(
