What Is this '1' View?

Maybe I am being a little paranoid, though probably not. But as soon as I post a message on the SDMB, I go to the main section of the board. And immediately it says "1 View". Then of course, more and more people go to the message, and soon it has many views. My question is simply this: Who is this "1 view"? Is it me, or is it a moderator, somehow looking at my OP ASAP? Not that this particularly bothers me. But I have been wondering this for some time. Anybody got any ideas?

Yes. After posting the message, you can't help but view it because the board software shows you it. If it's working properly, that is - I'm sure I remember instances (when the board was flaky) where after submitting a post, an error page came up instead and the thread index page declared 0 views (although there are probably other things that could cause 0 views, such as a locked or inaccessible record in the database or something).
