I was in Keli Mutu in 1994. At that time, the lakes were colored as follows:
Tiwa Ata Polo (TAP -- the first one on your right as you walk to the summit and see the pair of lakes that are next to each other) -- dark green with some upwelling.
Tiwu Nu Murikoohi Fah (TiN - the one next to TAP) -- bright turquoise with a fair amount of yellow sulfur floating on the surface.
Tiwu Ata Mbupa (TAM -- the one that is a little separated from the others) -- the color of black coffee, with just a hint of reddish overtones.
Does anyone know what colors they are now? Also, it is my impression that TIN is always turquoise. Is anyone aware of it ever being a different color?
