This is a fantastic site...and shockingly familiar:)
I double dog dare ya...what kind of flame warrior are you?
Me: A mix of "issues" and "rottweiler puppy"
http://www.winternet.com/~mikelr/flame1.html
I was sitting there chuckling, and assigning SDMB names to each category. I swear we have representatives from every single one of these Flame Warrior castes.
Myself: I try to be an Eagle Scout, but usually only manage Rottweiler puppy, or maybe even grunter.
I'm definitely not Aristocrat (there's that clique thing again! :D) or kung fu master. A man can dream, though.
The most fun I ever had was when I consciously made a decision to be Godzilla. I know, I know, it was a jerky thing to do, but the NG was so complacent, it had to be done. :)

I enjoyed this site. Thanks.
I also could find quite a few people to tack onto each catagory.
Though I haven't read through all the catagories yet, I would classify myself as a Fragile Femme, Rot Puppy, and sometimes Pithy Phraser (I can't help it; I'm a quote monger)
I should clarify by saying that my Godzilla days were not on this board...

beagledave-
thx for that link, I had not seen that site before, and it NAILS some virtual friends.
I tried to find ONE that I would consider to represent me...but alas, could only come up with a combination of "Big Dog, Stealth, Grunter", and a small amount of "Kung fu master"
(of course that last could be wistful thinking)

Damn.. Smile and Act Nice is full of Me-Toos and cyber sister/swarms since Gozilla came. They scare me :(
I have been through a long Tiny Yapper and a short Cry Baby phase.. yuck.
I am somewhat Jeckyl and Hyde now I guess..
I am an Evil Clown in real life.. is that bad?
BornDodgy:
No, but only because you're cute. The beautiful people get away with murder! :)
By way of explanation, I was a reader on a board in which people asked for "honest criticisms" of songs they wrote. They would post these awful, glurge-filled excrescences, and the other board members would invariably (and I mean with no exceptions) reply with "oh, that's just a wonderful, beautiful, heartfelt song! Yippee!"
I couldn't abide it anymore, so I rose from the depths, and started to give honest, well thought-out, but pointed criticisms. You'd have thought I was the devil himself.

Thanks for the link, beagledave! That's great stuff.
I'm no good as a flamer. I guess I'm a newbie <sigh>, with a touch of evil clown.
I recognized a lot of SDMB posters.;)
