Is there a way to read spoiler boxes on the iPhone?

Am I missing something obvious, or is it just not possible? In order to read a spoiler box, you have to select the text, usually by clicking and dragging across it. But Safari-on-iPhone doesn't seem to have any way of selecting text, much less dragging across a bunch of it.

There was an earlier thread offering a kludge here (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=441912&highlight=spoiler+iphone) . I don't know if there is now a better solution.

Ok, thanks, I guess that's better than nothing. (Posted in Cafe; explains why I didn't find it when I searched GQ).
