Did he drink only whisky (the spirit mentioned in this obituary), (http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/visual_arts/article3927224.ece) or were his tastes more catholic?

He drank Jack Daniels, straight, from a very large tumbler -- like maybe 32 or 40 oz.

No need for embalming. But I would be careful if he is to be cremated.

He did a large installation at the National Gallery of Art in the late 80's, which I helped install.
When they opened it to the public, he offered a lecture on the opening day which did not go over well. He had his tumbler very prominently on the podium and was quite noticeably smashed. So much so that when question time came a woman stood up, said something very nice about how talented he was, but ended by asking why he felt it necessary to appear drunk in front of his fans.
His reply was, "Why is it necessary for for you to be such a bitch?"
The curator came on stage, pimped a round of applause out of the audience, and kind of hustled him off stage.

I'm on the polar opposite side of Teddy Kennedy politically, and I hope this news does not lead to a future announcement here. God bless him & bring him through. On Jan 1, 2007, I had a very mild stroke- I was OK later that week, but I know how scary even the mildest one can be.
Now, if Senator Kennedy wants to step down because of this, that would be fine, but I certainly wish him the best in this situation.

On the anivesary show Korman explained why he couldn't stop laughing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-FLSCUsUKs) in these sketches. During rehersal Conway wouldn't do any of the physical humor, they would just go over the lines. Conway would go over some of the things he was planning with the cameraman and director but the cast had no idea. Korman was seeing it for the first time on camera.

No, that was done live in front of an audience. Carol had done it without the curtain rod in rehersal, but Bob Mackie came up with the idea and they decided to do it while taping for the first time. She did tell Harvey what they had planned, but he was the only one who knew.

PAUL Newman has finished chemotherapy and has told his family he wants to die at home. The Oscar-winning actor was pictured being pushed from a New York cancer hospital in a wheelchair.
Yesterday, it was reported in America that Newman, 83, had only weeks to live and had returned home to his wife, Joanne Woodward.
"Paul didn't want to die in the hospital," a source said. "Joanne and his daughters are beside themselves with grief."
