Canadian Tire money at par

As we all know, Canadian money is now up around par with American money. What is less known is that Canadian Tire money is at par too, as reported by Sandy Wolofsky in SBC Skier, Early Winter 2008, p. 66: Perhaps the best feature of Mont Alta [Quebec] is its decision to accept Canadian Tire money at par. "Sure," says Alta owner Oswald Lingat, "I hope everyone pays me with Canadian Tire money. I can make more money off of it!"

Now if we could only get the Utah Alta ski hill to accept Canadian Tire money at par . . .
