I've heard it on an MTV special recently concerning Dr. Dre, and it sounds kinda like a Dre song, so I assume it's by him. Does anyone know what it's called? (Hopefully it's in the correct key. The correct instrumentation is some guitar/flute combo or something.)

What does the midi represent? The bass line? The background sample? I'm stumped, myself.

It represents the music part at the beginning of the song, before anyone starts rapping. (I think.) It's more of a melodic device, because then it repeats and then the bass comes it. Also, it does kinda sound like a sample.

That actually sounded pretty close to the real song.

Anyway, the song is called Still D.R.E.
It has Snoop Dogg in the chorus. Its off of Dr. Dre 2001.

Its the hook, and is played throughout the song.
