Has anyone else felt something 'missing' from every movie they've seen since Beowulf in 3d?

Angelina Jolie?
Half-melted uglies?
What?

The sense of foreboding in my stomach that when I got up to leave, I would find the doors locked and the movie starting over again, and that I was, in fact, already dead and in Hell?

No, I haven't missed that feeling at all.

Headache? Eye strain?

I kid. Actually I had a little problem because I had to sit off to the side, and the headache was from the sound. What is it with theater sound? I like bass, but it loses its impact when everything is loud. A horse gallops past, and it's BOOM BOOM BOOM! Does anyone like that?

I think it has promise. I haven't seen any movies in the theater since it.

I don't but movie theater owners apparently think that turning the volume up to painful levels and adjusting the bass so that it downs out other parts of the soundtrack is the way to show a movie.

Yeah, I'm missing the burning eyes from the 3D specs. Other than that, nothin.

Interesting gimmick-I didn't like the times where they self-consciously called attention to the 3D effects, but with a greater director I can see it working. Plot and "acting" sucked tho.

Yes. I've really missed unintentionally slapstick penis obscurement ruining several other films.
