...but you didn't state your religious affiliation.

My personal experience has been that the people who are very vocal about their religion (or lack thereof) and tell you how to run you life based on their religious/atheistic beliefs are typically jackasses.

Its also the coverage. You never hear "Millions of Muslims Pray Silently. Film at 11."
