DO NOT READ THE THREAD BEFORE RESPONDING, yada yada yada, you know the drill.
Well, no one else seems to be starting one, so I will... hopefully not stepping on anyone's toes or violating protocol. I'm going to run this a bit differently than the previous ones, in that I see no need to cut off at a certain number of entries, nor to attempt to normalize scores based on number of entries. Rather, all entries submitted before midnight, Thursday, Chicago time (50+ hours from now) will be accepted. At that point, I will do the scoring, and each answer will be worth 1 point for each person who submitted it. This has the drawback that scores can not be compared to scores from other rounds, but has the advantage that there's no arbitrary cutoff, and if you are reading this, and it is before midnight Chicago time on Thursday, you can enter without fear that the round has closed.
Also, I do not count "pass" as an answer. If you don't have a good answer, just guess!
I hope I am not repeating question from previous rounds.
All of these questions relate to movies. It's a field that almost all of us are at least somewhat familiar with, which yields lots of interesting questions.
1. Name a movie role that was portrayed so well, and so distinctively, by one actor or actress that you can not imagine any other playing that part.
2. Name a movie with an extremely sad ending.
3. Name a movie that is a sequel, or part of a series, which is much much much worse than the movie it's a sequel to, or the previous movie in the series.
4. What is the best action scene ever?
5. Name a movie with a very short name.
6. Name a movie that is frequently quoted on the SDMB.
7. Name a movie that lots of people have heard of without having actually seen it.
8. Name a movie based on true events which actually sticks pretty authentically correctly close to those true events (but which is not a documentary... ie, it involves actors playing the role of real people, not real historical footage).
9. What foreign language film has been seen by the most Americans?
10. Name a specific individual (living or dead) involved in Hollywood moviemaking who is neither an actor/actress nor a director, but is famous for something else.

I'd like to make a request to all Feuders, be they gamers or hosts - Once the current game is over, and a new one has been started, please post a link to the new thread in the old. Yes, it's easy enough to do a forum search on the word "feud", but it would be a great time saver. :D

I've never done this before, so I guess I didn't understand the nature of the game.
I thought you were polling us so that you could then use the answers in a separate (possibly off-board) game. Because of this, I gave answers that were authentic to me, and not ones calculated to estimate what all the other participants would guess.
