Missed call from 732

There is a missed call on my cell phone from the number 732. That's all that's there. I tried calling 732 but of course it's not a working number. Anyone know what's the deal here?

Sounds like it's not an area code, but just the number 732. I've had something similar happen before, but I can't recall right now. I do know that Skype will sometimes show up as 0000123456

That's right just the number 732. I do know people in that area code though. Maybe it's just a glitch.

I have received calls from my girlfriend while she is at work. The only thing that shows up on my cell phone's caller ID is her extension. Is it possible that 732 was the extension of the caller?

Did you check the manual to see if that is an error code?

Is it possible you saved it by mistake, and 732 is the buttons you pushed when it asked for a name? In that case it would be in your Phone Book

I've had someone call me from an office phone in manhattan, and it only showed up as 212 (manhattan area code). So it could very well be someone in jersey.

Some of my vendors show up on my caller ID as "434" or "5642"--their extensions.
