OK, 5-time champ is going to take a little break form the Feud, but I thought I might step in and do one. The rules are these (note mine are a little different).

First and most important. POST YOUR ANSWERS BEFORE READING ANYBODY ELSE’s

Second, POST YOUR ANSWERS BEFORE READING ANYBODY ELSE’s

Third, there are no wrong answers.

Fourth, Entries will end when 51 entries are received. You will receive two points for every answer that matches one of yours, excluding your own. If you have an answer that nobody else gives, then you get a strike. If you get three strikes you will get a zero score for the game.

Fifth, I will try my best to reconcile answers that may be different due to spelling or other reasons, but are essentially the same.

Have fun.

2. Name a North American country besides the USA, Canada or Mexico.
3. Name a (primarily) black and white movie from the year 2000 or beyond.

Oh boy.

Sooner or later someone from Atlanta, Georgia will read this and you will find yourself a nice Pit thread with your name on it.

It calls to mind a tale I once heard, of a college student driving from NYC in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for Spring Break who got pulled over for speeding near Atlanta. The state trooper said to him, "Son, you just can't go through the State of Georgia that fast." His too-smart mouth and too-learned brain immediately quipped, "What about General Sherman?"

His fate is unknown, presumed unpleasant to the maximum degree allowed by Georgia law.

Re the film after 2000 in B&W, here are the answers given with release dates and other notes:

The Man who wasn't there - 2001
Good Night and Good Luck - 2005
Primer - 2004 (but not in B&W)
Sin City - 2005 (top answer?)
Pleasantville - 1998
American History X - 1998 and not in B&W
Clerks - 1994
The Good German - 2006
Schindler's List - 1993
Coffee and Cigarettes - original short 1986, but redone in full length in 2003
Persepolis - 2007
Greenfield? - Maybe an answer for the Simpsons question?
Memento - 2000 not in B&W
Pi - 1998
Grindhouse - 2007 (was this B&W)?
The Call of Cthulu - 2005
Paradise - no film by this name after 2000, none that I can tell are B&W. There is a Paradiset from 2003 that is Swedish that may fit the bill on translation.

I was confused. As I often am. I was thinking of Pleasantville, but didn't give myself time to research anything. So, came up with a similar name, that gives me a nice big buzzer. ;)

Honestly that never occurred to me, I have always been taught that Central Aemrica is part of North America. 4. Name a fictional town in The Simpsons besides Springfield.
<snip>
Homer City 1
Homer City 1

Shouldn't this count as a two-point answer?

10. Name a Confederate General besides Lee.
<snip>
J.E.B. Stuart 2
Jeb Stuart 1

Same guy. His full name was James Ewell Brown Stuart, so his first three initials were easily transformed into the word "Jeb".

Also, I get 366 points when I add up my score, and thus believe I'm actually (barring additional adjustments) tied with NAF1138 for fourteenth. However, I do agree with you that Central America is indeed a part of the North American continent, even if some residents of the Western Hemisphere's Spanish-speaking lands (and some folks from Anglophone nations as well) use the term norteamericanos to refer exclusively to Canadians and USA denizens, or to Mexicans in addition to those governed from Ottawa and Washington.

I actually did count the two Stuarts as one (or tried to). And there was only one Homer City, that is just a typo in the above post..

Also, don't count your vote in your points. You get two points for every answer besides your own.
