I was given a copy of Microsoft Streets & Trips 2008 with the little gps square device- this guy (http://static.flickr.com/117/294417164_c4131b58a6.jpg)

When it was given to me I wasn't given a connection cord to attach it to my laptop (she said she didn't have it.)
How is this little device connected? There appears to be 6 USB sized prongs. Is there a way I can utillize a usb cord to connect this to the laptop? What are the prongs for?

Or more importantly, what type of connection is this?

Yeah, it should be just plain USB. If you have any standard cable that fits it, it should work.

Doesn't the manual (probably a PDF on the disk) tell you how to connect it?

This picture seems to show some sort of adapter. Don't know what it is. Try contacting Microsoft?

It connects via a special USB Cable. It's long and flat on one side and USB on the other. You might have some luck on eBay or something getting just the cable. I think the cable and antennas are like 35 bucks. Good Luck.
