Let's Play...

Inspired by the Something Awful subforum (http://forums.somethingawful.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=191) of the same name, I have half a mind to replay some of my older video games and recording my progress in the name of enlightening you Dopers.

The games that I'm considering:
- Disgaea 2
- Dynasty Warriors 5
- Final Fantasy Tactics
- Legend of Mana
- Orochi Warriors
- Samurai Warriors 2

Couple a questions:
1) Mods, would this be kosher? (I wouldn't hotlink any of the images, obviously.)
2) Would anybody be interested in reading or making their own LP threads?

It would be worth a shot. The only thing is that this community is different from SA, so it may or may not go as well with this crowd.

It would be fun to try, but I personally would probably give up partway through to escape the pressure of updating often enough and having to be funny or interesting.

Oh man, Dynasty Warriors 5. I have DW5 it's awesome, bonus points for expansion games for it. DW5: Extreme Legends, DW5: Empires, DW5: Cao Ren My Secret Daddybear Lover..

..oh wait, that last one is in my personal collection.

Do DW5, it's fun, and Zhang He is ripe for parody. :D

Yeah, hardly the height of humor. I also have the video of this playthrough, but I'll need to re-render it so it doesn't take forever to upload via Youtube.

I'd love to do my own let's play thread (except in Character, not sure if those are technically let's play, but teh RE4 one on the SA forums was close... and the only one I've ever read fully). Only problem is I have no webspace, so the thread would be a link whore... unless the admins were really really nice and activated [*img][*/img] tags for just the game room... pwetty pwease!

As a suggestion for yours: more commentary, less pictures. The most fun part about lets play stuff is the commentary, just watching people play and looking at screens is boring, give me something to laugh at. The first paragraph was great but once I realized the rest was just pictures with half-heartedly done one-liners occasionaly I got kind of bored.
