I was pretty amazed to find this, and after mentioning it in a completely unrelated thread, figured I'd start a new one just to highlight the existence of this website (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers/game_nolan.shtml). It currently hosts an on-line interface for the classic Infocom (interactive text) game version of The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, in honor of the 20th Anniversary of its release.

If you're old enough to remember enjoying these games, it'll be a walk down memory lane.

If you never did, but like Douglas Adams' work, and being a SDMB member is any indication of a love for reading, writing and thinking imaginatively -- give it a try!

Wow, I remember this. I actually beat this game. I'd probably be lucky to remember how to get the babel fish at this point.

The original (http://www.douglasadams.com/creations/infocomjava.html
) in all it's pictureless glory.

Make sure and read the page, the link to the game is at the bottom of the screen.

Share and Enjoy.

Oh boy. I think I'll introduce my older kids to Wishbringer and see how they like it. (The older one is still fixated on her Pokemon Pearl game on the Nintendo DS, but I have hopes that my second oldest will take to it...)
