A. Read all the rules
B. Post your answers before reading the thread
C. Post your answers like this:
1. Answer
2. Answer, etc
Do not repeat the questions, do not add extraneous fluff amongst your answers.
C. Scoring - Any answer duplicated by anyone else is worth 100 points divided by the number of entrants.
D. The game will end either when we have 50 entrants, or at 3 PM Eastern on 3/18/08 whichever comes first.
E. The penalty. See rule C. If you fail to post answers correctly causing me extra work in the scoring, you get the honor of incurring a penalty. That penalty is 10% of your final point total. I only do this with the goal of making sure people read the rules.

Croutons! :smack:
I didn't remotely see croutons turning into the salad juggernaut. That's surprising. I'm also a little tickled by the strong showing of Tennessee in question #9 even though it's not a correct answer.
Still counts for points though.

I'm also a little tickled by the strong showing of Tennessee in question #9 even though it's not a correct answer.
In my defense, 2000 was a little before my "I give a shit about the elections" time and it is his home state...

I don't think that's a misunderstanding. It goes on top of a salad and is as viable a pick as cheese or the dreaded crouton monster.

What time is it? Game time.
Calling it after 47 entries so this doesn't drag on longer than the ending of Mr. Holland's Opus. I assume everyone got the link to being very vaguely St. Patrickian. If not, it was pretty much driven by links I could think of to the color green because there are only so many questions you can ask about 4 leaf clovers. Questions 1 and 10 came from green vegetables. Question 2 was driven by the greens on a golf course. Question 3 came from the color of money (and the slang greenbacks). Question 4 came from the untested definition of green. Question 5 is obvious. Question 6 came from the Green Party, though not necessarily because of Nader. Question 7 is due to Kermit's "It's not easy being green" song. 8 came to me because of the Celtics clover insignia. And 9 was driven by having some sort of environmentally linked question.
With 47 entries, each duplicated answer is worth 2.13 points. Question 4 had 24 different answers. Question 6 had 4, which is 2 more than I was expecting.

Astros 0 for in the World Series and Bagwell 0 for in the feud. Ah, consistency.
Only one penalty and that went to NDP.
Why? What did I do wrong?

Why? What did I do wrong?
The rules, man. The rules.
The rules, man. The rules.
Which one did I violate? Leaving the questions in my post (I noticed others did it too)? Having my answers in green text? The "bacon bits/Bacos" answer?

C. Post your answers like this:
1. Answer
2. Answer, etc
Do not repeat the questions, do not add extraneous fluff amongst your answers.
The only repeats of questions occured prior to the 10 line set of answers so those didn't cause an issue in the copy/paste for me.

I'm also a little tickled by the strong showing of Tennessee in question #9 even though it's not a correct answer.
The Tennessee Vols are a professional team, aren't they? You don't think those guys go to classes for free, do you? Sure, their color is neon orange and not green, but orange is a color on Ireland's flag, so see, it all comes together. :D
Other than that, I've got nothing.

I guess I shouldn't complain about a top ten finish, but I really thought I had a top three that time. Damn you, croutons!
