So I was just at my local book store yesterday and I saw an issue of Marvel "Civil War".

I have been out of comics for quite some time so I flipped through it and it looked pretty eff'n cool. At the end Spiderman takes his mask off on live television to reveal Peter Parker. Then it looks like other Marvel hero's work for the government and are told to go after him now.

I was pretty confused, but the premise looks promising.

So I checked wikipedia on it and it the whole "Civil War" and the continuity seems to spread across about 25 comic series with multiple issues in each.

So my questions are:

Is the Civil War story line over yet?

When did the Civil War story line start?

Are there an graphic novel digests that contain the main Civil War story arc that I can buy? If so can I get a Amazon link?

Thanks!

I don't think it's done yet.

It's been finished for something like a year now.

If you want the core story, all you need is the Civil War (http://www.amazon.com/Civil-Marvel-Comics-Mark-Millar/dp/078512179X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1207240884&sr=1-1) trade paperback.

If you want to read further into the events of the story, there are something like twenty trade paperbacks that collect the various side-stories, all of which have similar trade dress and "Civil War" somewhere in their title. This (http://www.amazon.com/Guide-Marvel-Comics-August-Update/lm/RG9D680JZ8XNR/ref=cm_lmt_srch_f_1_rsrsrs0) is a pretty thorough list.
