View Full Version : Help With "Swedish Ceiling"?

As I understand it, a “swedish ceiling” is an array of wooden slats which is hung by wires from the overhead beams. The rafters/joists above are painted flat black.
This really works well for basement rooms, where you don’t want a conventional sheet rock ceiling.
Anybody have any tips on how to do this? I haven’t had much luck searching th web.
