New Kitteh (http://bp2.blogger.com/_ietFHt-kuec/SAd5_ckUFLI/AAAAAAAAAD8/Nu24emfDNQE/s1600-h/IMG_0124-A.jpg) !

This cute little bundle of fluff showed up underneath my apartment block a few days ago, and decided that she ought to be adopted... and she is now!

The vet says that she's basically in good health, about 2 months old. And we had to register her at the vet as "stray cat", because we hadn't thought of a name yet... and we still don't!

Suggestions please! (see above for kitteh pics)

Since she looks so good in an Elizabethan collar, I suggest that you name her Elizabeth.

Lamp.

Actually, walking floor lamp might work a little better.

Oh, I love naming beasts. Turbulence and Random are up for grabs, as those two have gone to kitty heaven. I always liked Watch, Squish or Jiggle. Perhaps those only work when you use the Cat as a last name.

You could also wait for a bit and name her after the first piece of Ikea furniture she scratches - that's how Billy, Ivar and Sten got their names.

Judging by the picture, you might consider "Funnellooking". "Fraise" is the name for that type of Elizabethan collar, that might fly.

or Lizzy!
As a fan of the less-used short forms, I'd got with Zabet.

Plus it sounds all cool and sci-fi-ish.

Alternately, given that she has almost exactly the same expression on her face as that National Geographic Afghani girl (http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/photography/enlarge/afghan-girl-portrait-photography.html), maybe you could go with Sharbat (http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2002/03/0311_020312_sharbat.html).

Aw, it's a stripey kitty! I have one of those, named Tippy. What goes with stripes? Jailbait? Dapple.

If the stripes go in a circle, are they called Rosettes?

Anything that goes well with 'the Destroyer' is good. Mousebane, the Destroyer. Rosebud, the Destroyer. Well, maybe anything would go with 'the Destroyer'.

Maybe purring sounds, like Ruction or Rubric, Susurration or Murmur. I know one cat named Evenrude, because he was such a loud purrer.

Whatever you name her, she's cute.

Name her Poops!

Please.

I call my shelter kitten Poops. Not because he poops (he does, but...). His name is Manny and I call him Manny Poo Pie, and that, naturally, shortened to Poops. :o

For girl kitties, I like nice ladylike names such as: Lily, Abby, Emma, Claire, and so on.

Isn't that Jon's last name in the Garfield cartoon? Maybe that explains it?

Now, see, your problem here is that you haven't utilized proper cat-discipline techniques. All you need to do is *************** their little ************* until they're tenderized, and then ******** so that they are properly ********* (don't forget to remove all the ************, as that might be problematic if you don't deal with it right away).
After that - happy cat, happy you! Works every time.

A diminutive of Elizabeth can be Libbet - Stephen King wrote it. (Think little girl talking.)
