(A word of caution: Round 10 was also an "AL," so you might see some similar guesses here).
Are you an English bassist now playing for Biomechanical?

Thanks for the comment - I missed round 10!
I am not Adrian Lambert.
Were you buried in a "landslide" in 1936?
I'm thinking this is an election reference, but I don't think Abraham Lincoln was in the 1936 one.

You were on the right track. Alf Landon, who was trounced by FDR.
Were you alive in the 20th century?
Were you once lead singer of The Tourists?
No, I am not the truly stunning singer that is Annie Lennox (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24fGmWG6kpg).
Were you alive in the 20th century?
- I was not alive in the 20th century

Abe Licoln replaced James Buchannan. Buchannan was the 15th President, a bachelor, and was widely rumored to be smitten with a US senator who's name escapes me at the moment.
Are you a man (or were you a man?)

Are you the lovely but acerbic daughter of a President?
Did you inspire Chuck Dodgson?
(Was Art Linkletter right?!)
I assume 'Chuck' is some form of address for Charles  , so I am not Alice Lidell (I think that's how it's spelt).
Are you the Father of Modern Chemistry?
I wish I had paid more attention in School!
 - so have a question!
Is "Forever Changes" your greatest legacy?
Is this a reference to Arthur Lee (no relation?)
Did you kill Jack Palance in a gunfight?
No, I am not Alan Ladd (but Shane was a great film!)
Did you launch "Reaganomics" with a sketch on a cocktail napkin?
 - so have a question!
(I keep remembering the scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off where the economics teacher describes Reaganomics as Voodoo :) )
Is your real name Esther "Eppie" Friedman?

Yes, I was referring to Arthur Lee, leader of the band Love.
The economist: Arthur Laffer- his famous "Laffer Curve," sketched on a napkin, showed that under some circumstances, a tax cut could increase government revenues.
My direct question: Are you a fictional character
Did you replace Jackie the Jokeman?
I think this is to do with Howard Stern, but ...

I don't think Jenna (Bush) Hager counts (though she is lovely but acerbic)...

That was Ada Lovelace, Lord Byron's daughter (and a pioneer of computer science in her own right)

Antoine Lavoisier.

Liddell, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice_Liddell) actually, but you were correct on the identification. Is "Chuck" not used as a nickname in Britain? During the Royal Wedding hullabaloo (yes, it extended to the erstwhile "Colonies") of 1981, references to "Chuck and Di" were common in gossip columns and tabloid headlines.

I always thought that was just for the sake of being able to make the toast "Drink up, Chuck and Di."
