Is it true there is a word that will cause you to vomit if said repeatedly?

For me, it's the word "maggot."

I'm guessing that saying such a word would involve some sort of uvulaic response, something spoken from the throat or the back of the mouth to trigger your gag reflex.
Alternatively, it could be the the word "uvulaic".

Be nice to the guest, children. I checked Snopes and there's nothing there (though many fascinating articles are listed under the key word "vomit").

Saying 'Candyman' repeatedly will make you vomit....blood, as you're impaled on a meathook.

The phrase "want another beer?" has caused me to vomit more than once. So maybe the word you are looking for is "Beer?"
"Dahmer" works nicely for me.

If you quack like a duck repeatedly it will make you vomit. And it won't echo, either.

Place the head of a grass or wheat plant on your tongue, top side facing out, and say "turkey" repeatedly.

You could stick your fingers into the back of your throat to get the feeling. Work for me many times (especially when I have accidentally got fine fish bones stuck in my throat)

Great Answer. :)
I came in here to say that the words "I'm never going to drink again" cause me to vomit repeatedly. But it only works if I've consumed a lot of alcohol.

Odd. When I was in the Navy, I met a guy who'd turn green and start heaving whenever he heard the word "Underweigh". Absolutely true story. He got a medical discharge for chronic seasickness.

We were doing our weekend cleaning over at GQ and wondered if we could leave this in your house. Moved.

No it won't. It will make you look like an idiot though.
