for one, I know there's a difference. I just can't for the life of me figure it out. I work supporting most of Europe, and we had to rename some of our distribution lists because some people in The Nederlandes objected to the word Dutch in the title.
So, Clog boys, can you explain?

Is Dutch racist? (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=34060)
Try that one. It will probably tell you what you need. FTR: there's nothing wrong with the word "Dutch".
"Nederlands" is what our language is called. The English word for that is "Dutch".

While Clogboy is adding up his sums you may want to read Is "Dutch" racist? (http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=34060)
