British/Mexican Spanish/USA car part name

I'm a Brit currently living and working in Mexico on a long term project. I hope to import my beloved MGB Roadster to this country and whilst I do not anticipate having any problems servicing my vehicle, I am concerned about any confusion which may arise over the Mexican and American names of car spares. Advice please.

It is oil and gas industry related, but contains most of the bits of an engine one might need. It is a bit weak on walnut veneer and broken coffee cup holders.
