The violence is too over the top and silly to be really offensive, IMO. The man isn't being shot with bullets, he's being pelted with candy bars - by Mr. T, an over the top macho stereotype. I think both Mr. T and the speedwalker are part of the joke - that a candy bar is the key to being manly.

Could it be construed as offensive? Well, a little, maybe, but a lot of humor has a dark or offensive edge, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. No one's suggesting you actually whip Snicker's bars at meterosexuals.

Plus, you know this commersial was just created because, one Friday afternoon, some ad exec. came up with the tagline "get some nuts" and everyone else agreed so they could go home early.

Both the speedwalker and Mr. T are over the top silly caricatures. Surely the commercial shows a man bursting through a ranch house in a ridiculous video game vehicle with some kind of automatic candy bar delivery gun to be ridiculous also. Not offensive.

Anyway, I am sensitive to this portrayal of a man who is perceived as less than masculine, so yes, I find it stupid. I am not offended, exactly, but I would rather see the speed-walker say "Oh no you didn't!" and climb over that gun and stuff a candy bar down T's throat and gag him to death. No, I'm not offended.
