Here's an interesting little game for long car rides, just sitting around the house or otherwise. It's simple enough that even kids can play, but complex enough that adults can have fun also. To wit:

Each player must pick 3 edible food items of any kind (no fair choosing motor oil or such like that). Items must be single foods--you can't pick something like a TV dinner that has multiple foods in it.

Imagine that you have placed said items into a blender set on high, and mixed them together

Imagine what the result would look like--we're going for color, consistency and just general "Oh my God that's sick!"

I'll Start:

Pink lemonade, lima beans and grape jelly

or perhaps

Tuna Fish (in oil), mustard, and lime jello

Simple as that. So who can find the sickest blender drink possible? Let the games begin!!!

(Aside to Mods--This seemed to be the most logical place for this, but if not, please grasp it firmly but gently (yeah, I know what that sounds like) by the collar and walk it to it's proper place).

Whoops, my bad. Beverages are also acceptable as one of your 3 items, as long as they are safe to drink--no transmission fluid or pine-sol or like that. Should have specified this in OP.

OJ, cream cheese and dill pickle. Should even look like sick if you blitz it just right.

Cod oil, meatloaf, and strained pees.

Pepto bismol (sp?), French fries, and okra.

Uncooked okra, blended well, and then pulse the blender just a bit as you toss in handsful of century eggs, and then pulse in a huge lump of casu marzu.

The okra gives you a thick, gelatious goo, the century eggs add rubbery lumps of brown egg white and sulfurous chunks of green yolk, and pulsing in a big hunk of casu marzu nets the stink of rotting cheese as well as lots of whole and partial cheese-fly maggots.

Edible, huh? No "meant for human consumption" qualifier? Okay then:

Maraschino cherries, yellow mustard, and Alpo.

Oh, I have to stick to human food? Well, fine.

Banana Nesquik, popcorn, and salmon.

Garlic, cinnamon oatmeal, and Chicken McNuggets.

Wow! I was expecting some great responses, but some of this stuff would knock a buzzard off a s**t wagon. Is there no end to the talents of Dopers? You folks are my kind of people!!

My theory is that for an optimally repulsive blend, you need to follow this pattern:

1. Something sweet, especially if it's overwhelmingly sweet;
2. Something pungent, or just very wrong in texture, preferably both;
3. Meat.

So, you could go with:

1. Twizzlers
2. Blue cheese salad dressing, and
3. Catfish

for example. Or maybe,

1. Count Chocula cereal
2. Natto, and
3. A turkey neck.

Better yet,

2. Nutmeg, and
3. Fried clams

The possibilities are endless.

Mountain Dew, butter, and chunks of ham. For optimal sickness, blend the Mountain Dew and butter, add the ham, and stir.

You know, that smoothie wouldn't be one iota more gross than the ingredients that made it.

My contribution -
Pork sausage
Peanut Butter
Applesauce

For people on a liquid diet -
Whole milk
Canola Oil
Lemon Juice

(ETA: I hope this doesn't doublepost.)
