Can anyone in the TM help me with a business quotation?
Paraphrased it goes something like:
"If management engages a consultant to do what management should be doing, it's time to get new management."
I have a feeling that it was from Jack Welch, but it's such a home truth it could have originated much earlier and been stated by many. The other ones I was thinking of were Al Dunlap and Joseph Heller.
