Most multi-billionaires are a little better known. My only knowledge of him is the result of his ex-wife, Jocelyn (sp?), who, in addition of trying to relieve him of the burden of carrying a lot of that money around, has had numerous surgeries to maker herself look like a *cat. How did this cat get his money? The old-fashioned way (that is, inheriting) or did he actually do something worthwhile.

*I've seen pictures of her before her surgeries. She was actually a very attractive trophy bride. She's rather frightening to look at, now, though.

According to [url="http://home2.planetinternet.be/verjans/Society_Divas/jocelyne_wildenstein_a.htm"]this site[/url, he didn't do anything. Alec Wildenstein, heir to a 10 billion dollar art fortune. Wildenstein had been born in Marseilles, France, but moved to New York for his education, and remained there to escape the whisper of scandal that followed him everywhere in Europe. The Wildensteins, a Jewish family, had been accused of both buying and selling art from the Nazis during the war.
